Visitation to Orphanage Panti Asuhan Cacat Ganda Bhakti Asih

Our team had the privilege of visiting Panti Asuhan Cacat Ganda Bhakti Asih, a home dedicated to caring for children with multiple disabilities. The visit was a meaningful opportunity to share God's love through compassion, encouragement, and fellowship with the children, caregivers, and staff.

We spent time interacting with the children, offering friendship, prayers, and support while expressing our appreciation for the caregivers who faithfully serve with patience and dedication every day. Their commitment reminds us that every child is precious, created in the image of God, and worthy of love, dignity, and respect.

This visitation reaffirmed our commitment to serving vulnerable communities and promoting inclusion, hope, and practical care. We believe that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference and reflect Christ's love in action.

"Let all that you do be done in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:14

We thank God for the opportunity to serve and pray for continued strength, good health, and abundant blessings for every child, caregiver, and supporter of Panti Asuhan Cacat Ganda Bhakti Asih.

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

Matthew 19:19 (NKJV)

"Honor your father and your mother," and, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

This Bible verse was on my heart this morning before we visited Yayasan Panti Asuhan Cacat Ganda Bhakti Asih, where PT Benih Sakti Makmur carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) visit to serve children with multiple disabilities.

Our team was warmly welcomed by Sister Magdalena, whose kindness, grace, and Christ-like love are reflected in the way she cares for every child. We were also deeply inspired by Sister Margaretha, who knows every child's name and personal story. To her, they are not simply residents—they are her own children.

Meeting these precious children touched my heart in ways that are difficult to describe.

We met Shela, who is waiting for stomach surgery after the Eid al-Fitr holidays. We met Feli, Risa, and Stefanus Haryono, whose life is a testimony of God's faithfulness. Although he continues to face daily medical challenges, requiring fluid to be drained regularly, God has strengthened him. Today, he has grown into a mature young man who lovingly helps care for the other children at the home.

We also met Jovina, wearing a red shirt. Although she has a family, she was abandoned. Yet despite everything she has experienced, she remains gentle, kind, and full of warmth.

During our visit, we also noted the home's ongoing needs. The orphanage currently cares for approximately 45 children, supported by around 30 sisters and staff members who faithfully serve every day. Essential needs include food supplies, milk, daily necessities, and care packages.

Seeing the children's smiles was one of the greatest gifts from Heaven.

At times, I found myself holding back tears. Yet every smile, every handshake, every hug, and every gesture of love reminded me that these children are deeply precious in God's sight. Many communicate through sign language, hand gestures, or simple expressions of affection, and every interaction spoke volumes about God's unconditional love.

I felt the Holy Spirit reminding me of Jesus' command:

"Love your neighbor as yourself."

With special permission from the caregivers, I took photographs and selfies with the children because I believe every person deserves to be treated with the same dignity, love, and respect. We are all created in the image of God. No one is less valuable because of disability. Every life has immeasurable worth.

As I write these words, tears fill my eyes once again—not out of sadness alone, but because of the overwhelming love of God that I witnessed through these beautiful children and the faithful caregivers who serve them every day.

God is good.

Jesus is good.

Our Heavenly Father is good.

His love endures forever.

May God continue to bless every child, every caregiver, every sister, every volunteer, and every supporter of Orphanage Yayasan Panti Asuhan Cacat Ganda Bhakti Asih. May His peace, healing, provision, and everlasting love surround them always.
