Indonesia’s G20 Presidency has successfully produced the G20 Bali Leaders’ Declaration, consists of 52 paragraphs—contain one highly debated paragraph regarding the statement towards the war in Ukraine.

Summit also produced several concrete achievements that include, among others, pandemic fund establishment, which to date has managed to collect US$1.5 billion, as well as establishment and operation of the Resilience and Sustainability Trust (RST) under the International Monetary Fund (IMF) amounting to US$81.6 billion to help countries in crisis.

The Summit also produced an outcome related to the energy transition mechanism in which Indonesia received a commitment from the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) of US$20 billion.

“A shared commitment to protect at least 30 percent of the world’s land and 30 percent of the world’s oceans by 2030.

On December 2021 Italy Handover G20 presidency to Indonesia. On 2022 Indonesia officially become Sherpa of G20 and  Italy become Troika (Advisor). Budi Margono (MBMF Foundation) worked on Special working group, together with CSO from G20 countries and invited countries (Open for all countries), we continuously renew ideas and make actions toward renewable energy, climate action, Vaccine and Health access.

Looking Ahead: Rebuilding Ukraine

As the conflict continues, the rebuilding efforts will be crucial in the months and years ahead. The MBMF Foundation is fully committed to helping Ukraine rebuild its infrastructure, including critical bridges, hospitals, and schools. We understand that the true strength of a nation lies not only in its military or political might but in its ability to recover and heal from the wounds of war.

Together, with the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we will help rebuild lives and offer a future filled with opportunity, peace, and prosperity for Ukraine’s children and families.

We will open three more bridges in deoсcupied territories, soon. It will be easier for people to get home, and for volunteers to deliver humanitarian aid.

Building Bridges of Hope: Support for Ukraine’s Reconstruction

Recently, we celebrated the completion of the eighth bridge built with funds from UNITED24 donors, and the fifth bridge constructed in the de-occupied Mykolaiv Oblast. This monumental achievement would not have been possible without the generosity, compassion, and determination of donors, volunteers, and organizations worldwide.

As we witness the rebuilding of these vital structures, we are reminded of the power of community and collective action. These bridges serve not only as essential infrastructure for local transportation but as symbols of resilience, hope, and the unwavering spirit of the Ukrainian people. They offer the promise of easier access for residents to return home and enable critical humanitarian aid to flow more swiftly to those in need.

The construction of these bridges is a direct result of your donations and support for Ukraine. Your kindness is creating true miracles, turning the impossible into reality for countless individuals whose lives have been upended by conflict. Each bridge stands as a testament to the strength of your compassion, and we are grateful to all who have contributed to making these projects possible.

Looking forward, we are excited to announce that three more bridges are planned for de-occupied territories in the near future. These bridges will further ease the journey for displaced families returning to their homes and facilitate the delivery of essential humanitarian aid to communities still recovering from the devastation.
