Together with Moises and friends in Burundi, we minister to children by providing food, haircuts, and Christmas gifts, ensuring that every child feels valued and cherished. Through these acts of kindness, we help meet their basic needs and bring smiles to their faces during the holiday season.

This mission is more than just giving—it’s about spreading God’s love and sharing hope with those who need it most. Every meal served, every gift given, and every moment of care is a reminder that we are truly blessed to bless others.

April 3, 2025 – A catastrophic 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on March 28, sending shockwaves across Southeast Asia and affecting parts of Thailand. The humanitarian crisis is rapidly escalating, with more than 3,000 lives lost, thousands injured, and over 10,000 buildings completely collapsed in Myanmar, particularly around Mandalay and surrounding regions.

Entire communities have been reduced to rubble — homes, schools, hospitals, and markets — leaving tens of thousands homeless and vulnerable to disease, hunger, and trauma. Roads are cracked and flooded, rescue workers face treacherous conditions, and the risk of disease outbreaks grows due to extreme heat and forecasted rains.

Meanwhile, in Bangkok, tremors caused the partial collapse of a skyscraper, resulting in casualties, structural damage, and emergency evacuations. Authorities are still conducting rescue operations.

As the March 2025 G20 South Africa Summit approaches, MBMF (MBMF Foundation) continues to play a pivotal role in global economic and social development by engaging in the C20 South Africa Working Groups. The foundation, which is focused on making a positive impact in areas such as financial inclusion, sustainable development, and humanitarian aid, has officially registered its participation in the C20 South Africa Working Group. While progress has been slightly slower than that of other countries, MBMF remains committed and is eagerly awaiting upcoming meetings scheduled for April 2025.

South Africa’s G20 Presidency has highlighted several priority areas for global development, and MBMF is proud to contribute to the discussions and initiatives that will shape the future of our world.

While we do not support war equipment, our mission is to save lives by providing essential medical supplies, feeding those in need, rebuilding homes, and ensuring education for children affected by the crisis.

LA Dream Center Wild Fire Relief Donation Center

In January 2025, Los Angeles faced devastating wildfires, notably the Palisades and Eaton fires, which collectively resulted in significant loss of life and property. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed 27 fatalities due to the fires.

The fires destroyed nearly 10,000 structures, including homes, businesses, and cultural landmarks.

In January 2025, Los Angeles was struck by devastating wildfires, particularly in the Palisades and Eaton areas, causing widespread destruction. Nearly 10,000 structures were lost, leaving thousands of residents displaced, and tragically, 27 lives were claimed. These fires underscored the urgent need for support, compassion, and action within the community.

Budi Margono, who previously resided on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles, felt a deep connection to the city and its people. During the fires, Budi and their family reached out to loved ones residing in Los Angeles to ensure their safety. Thankfully, their family members were safe, along with friends and colleagues living in the area.

Motivated by a desire to help those affected, Budi joined hands with the Los Angeles Dream Center, led by Pastor Matthew Barnett, to provide relief and support to the impacted communities. The Dream Center has been instrumental in offering shelter, hot meals, and essential resources to displaced residents. Together, their combined efforts have contributed to the ongoing recovery and rebuilding process for the city.

“Los Angeles holds a special place in my heart,” Budi shared. “The devastation caused by these fires is heartbreaking, but it’s inspiring to see the resilience and unity of the community. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who have suffered.”

Budi’s contribution to the Dream Center reflects their ongoing commitment to philanthropy and community support. Alongside partners like Lakewood Church, these efforts highlight the power of collaboration in times of crisis.
